Welcome
The Gran Canaria Journal was started in July 2005 by me, Lisa Guide – the Editor. I started it because of the lack of any British, island publications and because I have a passion for writing and researching topics. It is now firmly established on the island and is the best quality publication available – and it is free.
The GC Journal is distributed in specific sites around the island (mainly the south but at least 200 magazines are taken to Las Palmas each month) which are frequented by local residents and tourists; supermarkets, bars, Tourist Info offices etc.
The size is A4 and it is printed on good quality glossy paper in full colour. We print 6,000 copies each month with an estimated readership of 25,000 readers each month – and now it is available here, for you to download – that figure could quite well double!
I hope you enjoy reading my magazine and if you have any comments or ideas of how we might even improve it then contact me directly!
Regards,
Lisa Guide
